If you didn’t catch last week’s post, I’m starting a couple of series called Fashion for Friday and Face for Friday. You can see last week’s fashion post here. This week I wanted to share a spring makeup look I’m loving! I like to keep things pretty natural when the sun comes out so I went for a light neutral eye with a pale pink, dewy lip. For a base, The L’oreal True Match Foundation is great for fairly light (but buildable) coverage. It’s really liquidy which I really like because it creates a pretty flawless look. I used the No7 Blush to contour. I find it’s a nice shade for my extremely pale skin. I also used my new Feeling Younger Skin Tint as a highlighter – review to come soon! The Bare Minerals Eye Palette is my new favourite eye combination. The two shades are absolutely stunning. I used the champagne colour all over my lid up to the brow bone, with a little bit of the bronze in the outer corner. It’s going to be my go-to spring eye look. I’m also obsessed with Maybelline Colour Sensational Shine Gloss. I’ve heard and read a lot of rave reviews about this, and it’s honestly worth the hype. I currently only have the shade Glorious Grapefruit, but I’m definitely going to have to invest in a few others. The formula is not tacky at all. It almost feels like a lip balm on your lips, and it’s not overly glossy either so it’s perfect for a natural, juicy look. A true gem! Hope you like this spring FOTD!
