Fashion for Friday #1

I’ve decided to start a little series where I do either a new OOTD or FOTD post every Friday. I’m going to call them either Fashion for Friday or Face for Friday, depending on what it is! This first one is going to be an outfit post.

It’s been feeling more and more like spring here in the UK. It’s still far too cold to venture out without a jacket, but I have used the recent sunshine as an excuse to break out the floral skirts rather than living in jeans 24/7. Unfortunately this stuff isn’t available in the shops right now as I got it all a while ago, but hopefully it will give you some spring outfit inspiration if you’re struggling to find some weather-appropriate clothes for the weekend!

I love the floral print of the skirt. My friend actually made it for me last year, and I’ve got loads of wear out of it! It’s still not warm enough to banish jumpers for the season but I think the contrast between the print of the skirt and the simple grey knit makes the outfit smart but not over-dressed. If you’re interested in finding out about where I got the necklace I’m wearing, check out this post!

What’s your go-to outfit choice when the sun makes an appearance? Do you break out the floral prints or do you keep it more simple? Hope you enjoyed this post! Check back next week for my first Face for Friday!
